Behind the scenes
How We Rank the Top 100 UK Sales
Every sale we track is scored automatically and re-ranked throughout the day. The score combines four signals:
The four signals
- Discount depth — how big the saving actually is. "Up to 70% off" beats "10% off your first order".
- Scope — site-wide sales score higher than single-category or limited-item promotions.
- Freshness — newly launched sales get a boost, and stale listings decay until they are verified again.
- Retailer quality — established retailers with a strong track record rank above unknown outlets.
Discount codes
Sales with a working discount code get an extra nudge in the rankings, and the code is shown right on the sale card so you can copy it before you click through.
Why a sale disappears
When our monitors can no longer verify a sale on the retailer's site, it is marked as ended and moves to the retailer's sale history page rather than vanishing entirely — useful for spotting how often a shop really runs promotions.
