Privacy policy

What we collect

You can browse everything on FindSales without an account, and we collect nothing personal while you do. If you create an account we store:

• Your email address — used only to sign you in and for account emails (confirmation, password reset). No marketing.
• The shops you follow and when you last checked your alerts — so we can show your favourites and what's new since your last visit.

That's the full list. No location, no contacts, no advertising identifiers, no tracking SDKs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, request time) for security.

One account, two sites

FindSales shares its account system with our sister site DealsFirst. The same email and password work on both, and anything DealsFirst stores for you (followed shops and categories, saved searches, favourites) lives on the same account. Deleting your account deletes it from both sites and both apps.

Where it lives

Account data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) and is encrypted in transit. Outbound "Shop sale" links take you straight to the retailer — we don't track those clicks on FindSales.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and every piece of data attached to it at any time — it takes effect immediately and cannot be undone:

• On the web: findsales.co.uk/account/delete
• In the Android app: Account → Delete account
• Can't sign in? Email us from the account's address at [email protected] and we'll delete it manually.
